Polyctor
also: Πολύκτωρ
One of the three builders of the fountain outside Ithaca's city; likely unrelated to the suitor Peisander's father of the same name (Book 18).
Reading notes
- The Odyssey §17.197 Polyctor
One of the three founders credited with building the fountain outside the town, where the townspeople drew water and travellers sacrificed to the nymphs. He is probably not the Polyctor whose son Peisander courts Penelope.
