Achilles's son, brought by Odysseus from Scyros to fight at Troy; fearless in council and battle, he emerged from the Trojan Horse unwounded and killed Eurypylus. (Unnamed in Book 4's earlier reference to Menelaus's daughter's marriage; named here.)
