Adrastus (Trojan captive)

Adrastus

also: Ἄδρηστος

A Trojan whom Menelaus takes alive and is ready to spare for ransom; Agamemnon overrules his brother's pity and kills him — one of the poem's starkest statements that this war shows no mercy (Book 6).
