Poseidon

also: Ποσειδῶν, Earth-Shaker, Ἐννοσίγαιος

God of the sea and earthquakes, brother of Zeus and Hades. He is one of Hestia's rejected suitors (Hymn 5) and owns the sacred grove at Onchestus (Hymns 3, 4); Hymn 22 hymns him directly as tamer of horses and saviour of ships.
