Hera

also: Ἥρη, white-armed Hera, ox-eyed Hera

Queen of the Olympians, sister and wife of Zeus. She appears jealously hiding Dionysus's birth (Hymn 1), delaying Leto's labour out of spite (Hymn 3), and bearing the monster Typhaon alone in anger at Zeus for producing Athena unaided (Hymn 3); Hymn 12 hymns her directly.
